Tactile for Children" is a tool for children to become aware of the "tactile sensations" they usually feel without thinking about it. Using this tool, children can trace, tap, and poke various materials to explore their sense of touch. Children can also create their own favorite "tactile sensations" by combining "tactile sensations".
The exhibition and workshop were held at ICC Kids Program 2018 "Touching the Wonder of the World, Touching the Future".
私たちの身の回りには、様々な“触り心地”が溢れています。“こどものためのテクタイル”は、普段なにげなく感じている“触り心地” に意識を向けてもらうためのツールです。このツールを使って様々な素材を、なぞったり、たたいたり、つついてみたりしながら、子どもの触感の探索行動を引き出します。また“触り心地”を組み合わせて自分だけのお気に入りの“触り心地”を創造することもできます。
