“Kinder BURU BURU Cushion” is a vibrotactile cushion that is used during storytelling to capture children's attention and help them focus on the story. This project was developed through a collaboration with a printing company and a picture book company. Based on user studies conducted in kids' spaces, we designed and refined the system before evaluating it in real storytelling environments. Our field studies demonstrated that children showed greater interest in the stories and were able to stay focused throughout longer stories.
